This translation service works live for both agent and visitor, in over 100 languages, 24 hours a day. Here’s how real-time chat translation works:
• You obtain and enable an optional translation account, that runs on a per website basis
• WhosOn uses the GEOIP from the visitor browser setting to detect language automatically
• Visitors can then be then asked if they want to chat in their own language, or use yours
• If the visitor prefers to chat in their own language, messages are translated back and forth
• For both visitor and agent, original and translated text is stored in the chat transcript
