Inactive chat users can harm your productivity. When a user has ceased engaging with the chat session, but not actively exited, that chat remains open. In turn, this can slow down chat queues.
So, WhosOn offers chat auto-closure. This feature ends inactive sessions to optimise chat management. All without your operators spending time on chasing up users manually.
• Inside your WhosOn settings, you can choose to enable a visitor inactivity message
• You can then set a timeframe for this inactivity message to trigger
• You can also customise the text you’d like to surface within your inactivity message
• For example: “If the visitor does not respond after %seconds%, send %custom message%”
• Last, you can choose whether to enable chat auto-closure, which will then end the chat session based on inactivity
